Even with the current global pandemic going on, cryptocurrency is not to be denied with its transactions online as the industry keeps on operating in the midst of the crisis.
One great evidence is the online crypto exchange Gemini who is expanding its digital asset by adding BAT or the Basic Attention Token later this month, specifically on the 24th at 9:30 a.m. ET.
This will be the sixth asset that Gemini will have on its range of cryptocurrencies which already had bitcoin, ether, bitcoin cash, litecoin and Zcash on their roster.
BAT is mainly used in the Brave Browser to provide efficient and effective mechanism for rewarding users, advertisers and publishers.
“Brave blocks unsolicited ads and tracking by default and rewards users with BAT payments when they opt-in to view ads. Users can then directly or indirectly contribute BAT to the sites they visit while enjoying a faster, more secure browsing experience, all of which is accomplished without revealing a user’s browsing history or preferences,” Gemini stated in their blog.
Gemini also stated that they ‘we’re always looking to support and services that enhance the crypto ecosystem’.
